My Story
I'm Michael.
I was 14 with a $200 push mower from Walmart. I'm 17 now and this is what I do full-time.
I grew up in Georgetown, and I started Keep Austin Mowed in 2023 because I believe God opened the door for it. My brother got me my first customer. Everything after that came from the work itself.
For a while I didn't have a truck. I hauled the mower and my equipment around the neighborhood in a wheelbarrow, yard to yard. That's not a story I tell to sound humble, it's just how it went, and it's why I still care what every lawn looks like when I leave it.
I knew right away this was going to be a real landscaping company, not a summer job. Same day each visit, the mow, the trim, the edge, and a clean blow-off before I go. If something needs saying, I say it rather than leaving you to guess.

From one mower to a full route
2023
A $200 mower and a wheelbarrow
Started at 14 with a push mower from Walmart. My brother sent me my first customer. When I had more gear than I could carry, I pushed it between yards in a wheelbarrow.
Parkside
The neighborhood that built it
I lived in Parkside, so that is where I worked. Neighbors saw the yards I was finishing and started asking. Most of our customers still come from right there, and word of mouth is still how we grow.
Today
Full-time, with a crew coming together
Landscaping is what I do full-time now, across Georgetown, Leander, Cedar Park, Round Rock, and Liberty Hill, with a 4.9-star rating from 28 Google reviews. I am building a crew slowly and being picky about it, because the people doing the work are the whole thing.
